The first Lupine was born in 1991. Since then Lupine has become an international player, but the electronic components are still only ever developed and manufactured in Germany. Lupine is happy to use manufacturing techniques that couldn't be implemented in mass production, as careful assembly by hand allows us to put together the most complex of designs - designs that they can keep as compact as possible. Lupine use extremely tough materials and surfaces for a reason - to meet the challenge they have set themselves.

Betty TL Set: Light on

A simple, black lamp, virtually puristic: Our Betty TL does not want to attract attention by an aggressive appearance. Instead, a downright classic appearance, the prototype of all flashlights so to speak. But still the outside already suggests that the aluminum-milled enclosure might hide brute power desperately thirsting for being unleashed.

When switching it on, its purpose is clear: light! Every single automobile headlight, eat your heart out. No flashlight in the world is able to produce that much light from seven high-performance LEDs. It is made possible by a sophisticated combination of our proven 7-lens optics and our proprietary converter electronics.

Obviously, so much light wants to be tamed. Therefore, our Betty TL may be configured to start either with a double or a single click. It provides light at two or even four different stages, it can chase unwanted trail passers back into the dark with its specially developed flash mode, and much more. These options for customization are another unique feature of the limited Betty flashlight edition.

Intended use

We always develop lamps with the maximum possible light output from a technical point of view, but still our Wilma is available in three versions with different lumens and beam angles, because for real-life application, not only the light output is of significance but also the light distribution.

We therefore always use the most efficient LED technology or in some cases may even combine several LED types with our purpose-developed lenses.

16° version with 1200 measured lumens for uncompromising range on fast rides.

22° version with 1300 measured lumens and a balanced relation of range and side illumination.

26° version with 1500 measured lumens for lots of side illumination but slightly less range.

Simply speaking, the 1500 lumens version offers the biggest amount of light, but it is distributed over a wider area. The terrain and the application, therefore, determine the right choice.

A general rule for those who are undecided: Each Wilma turns night into day. The different versions merely provide the possibility to choose the one that is suited best for the preferred terrain.
