The first Lupine was born in 1991. Since then Lupine has become an international player, but the electronic components are still only ever developed and manufactured in Germany. Lupine is happy to use manufacturing techniques that couldn't be implemented in mass production, as careful assembly by hand allows us to put together the most complex of designs - designs that they can keep as compact as possible. Lupine use extremely tough materials and surfaces for a reason - to meet the challenge they have set themselves.

1900 Lumen Upgrade: For all Bettys with red LED board

On the first look seven tiny unspectacular LEDs sit on a shiny aluminium. But combined with our electronics and put under our completely new lens array, they develop a somewhat brutish luminosity.

All Betty owners now get even more light on the same burn time. With the upgrade kit every Betty with a red LED board can be upgraded to the new golden LED board by yourself and you can even choose your favourite beam angle. The kit comes with the LED board, a small Allen and our new 7-lens array.
