Port.hu Bringaexpo was the biggest hungarian cyclest event on 2011. There were a lot of bicycle wonders on the site of Bringaexpo: B pavilion on Hungexpo. We have to tell, we saw every kind of bicycles. We can not describe hungarian brands and products what we saw. Naturally the size of the exhibition fitted the scale of hungarian bicycle culture. Who was there we do not have to tell, the current exhibition was the biggest in years of 2000. People who could not visit the exhibition, can regret for it... but now we try to report, gave you back something from the mood of expo.
Let's see some informations about this event:
If it is March, it must be PORT.hu Bringaexpo, from 3 to 6 of March. This year, at the same place the organizers had tried first last year , at Hungexpo’s Pavilion B, a 6,500 square meter area. Now that the applications had been closed, we could say that the hall were to be full of bikes, all available stands were sold by the organizer. The offered range was broader than ever before with new exhibitors joining in the Bringaexpo caravan in 2011, obviously meaning new products showing up.
There were 22.500 visitors of Bringaexpo and some medias too during these 4 days. The exhibiton started on Thursday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day. (The tickets provided access to other programs taking place simultaneously at Hungexpo: Travel, Caravan, Boat-show, Carat, Himalaya Expo).
Evobike team showed novelties and brands on more than 50 square meters. Here we could introduce the newest Evobike Expedition: World around Honeymoon. This will be sensation in hungarian cyclist history! A young couple, Zita and Arpad travels around the World on recumbent bicycles. Their vehicles will be 2 dutch Nazca Gaucho, and they plan to take more than 50.000 km by recumbents! Arpad and Zita will marry on 4th of June, and start on 11th of June. There will be other Evobike Expedition on Hungary too: some young guys an a girl will cycle around Hungary. They will have a special Evobike sub-website, where you can follow them: www.kaland3kereken.evobike.hu
We will start a team to go to Olympic Games 2012 by bike, in the colours of Evobike, to show how important is supporting sport for Evobike. This will be a special team: a handicapped man will cycle with his 12-year-od daughter. We will give you new informations about them soon!
On Bringaexpo we tried to show the utmost novelties according to bicycles:
This was the time to see the little brother of Birdy on Hungary: Frog (Soon you can try it too.) This was the first time to see the Riese&Müller german premium bicycles on Hungary. Special Nazca recumbents, StreetStepper, Mobiky folding bike, Ortlieb waterproof bags and accessories (and a black-and-white "Ortlieb" bike, specially maden for this exhibition! Klickfix bag systems, Lupine professional light sets, Exustar shoes, pedals, Tubus carriers, Sealskinz waterproof socks, gloves, hats, Reelight induction (without battery) lights, Rainlegs... just to mention the bigger things.
